It’s officially the first day of Fall! The air is getting crisp, pumpkin spice is available everywhere, the leaves are starting to change color and sweater weather is here. It’s a beautiful time of year to get out and enjoy the season so I’ve put together a list of fun things to do this Fall.
.) Visit a local pumpkin patch. Get out and explore a local pumpkin patch one weekend day. Besides shopping for pumpkins, many have a lot of great family friendly activities like corn mazes, hayrides, farm animals for petting and more!
.) Decorate your porch for Fall with pumpkins, a colorful Autumn wreath, a couple baskets of mums, and collected pine cones and leaves.
.) Enjoy all of your favorite cool weather beverages. It’s Pumpkin Spice Latte, Apple Cider and Hot Chocolate season. Get your fix on your favorite flavors.
.) Go on a leaf-peeping hike or drive. Get out an explore the great outdoors and revel in the beauty of the changing foliage. Collect a few brightly colored leaves to use in your Fall decor. And don’t forget to bring your camera to capture all the pretty colors.
.) Take your family Christmas photo. It’s the perfect time to get a cute photo for your holiday cards.
.) Bake an apple pie. Besides pumpkin spice season, it’s also honey crisp apple season. Who doesn’t love a warm slice of homemade apple pie made with honey crisp apples?
