Graduation from high school or college is a big life milestone that calls for recognition and celebration. That’s where the graduation announcement comes in! Announcing this special achievement to family, friends, teachers, coaches and anyone else who would be interested in hearing of the graduation of a student is part of the celebration.
If your graduation announcement is just an announcement of this milestone accomplishment and does not include an invitation to the ceremony or a party, the time frame on sending can be anywhere from two weeks before to six weeks after the graduation ceremony.
If your graduation announcement also serves as an invitation to the graduation ceremony, party or open house, then it is best to send them at least two weeks before the event.
