Hey! Did you know it’s Answer The Phone Like Buddy The Elf Day? This silly little holiday comes from one of my all-time favorite holiday movies, Elf.
Elf is the story of one of Santa’s elves (Will Ferrell) who learns that he is actually a human living in Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole. He travels through the seven levels of the Candy Cane Forest, through the Sea of Swirly-Twirly Gumdrops, and then through the Lincoln Tunnel to get to New York City in order meet his biological father (James Caan). During his adventures, he meets a pretty girl (Zooey Deschanel), falls in love with her and saves Christmas all while spreading Christmas cheer in a world of cynics.
